Privacy Policy

This page describes the procedures for managing the website in respect of personal data processing of the users who browse it, according to national legislation introduced pursuant to European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation), in force since 25 May 2018. Please note that all personal data collected with regard to browsing will be used in accordance with principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency, as well as safeguarding the confidentiality and rights of data subjects.

2. TYPE OF DATA, COLLECTION METHOD AND PROCESSING PURPOSES

CONTACT FORM

This website incudes a contact form which contains the following personal data: first name, surname and e-mail.

To use the contact form the user is asked to voluntarily enter some personal data and agree to their use in reply to requests for information. Sending the form generates an e-mail, therefore no trace of the data will be left on the website. The data received by e-mail will thus remain in my e-mail server and used to provide the service required, then deleted after the service has been completed. If invoicing is required, the data will be saved in the Customer archive, according to the concept of “legitimate interest”, and stored for the time necessary for administrative and fiscal purposes as stipulated by law. Any refusal to transfer data shall have no consequence other than not being able to use the service provided.

SYSTEM LOGS AND MAINTENANCE

For reasons associated with functionality and maintenance, this website and any third-party services used by the latter may collect system Logs, i.e. files where interactions are recorded and which may also include the User's IP address or relevant details from the browser.

These data do not allow for user identification, unless a set of processing and interconnection operations is performed, and necessarily through data from other providers. Such operations may be conducted exclusively on request from the Judicial Authorities in charge, authorised for this purpose by express legal provisions aimed at preventing and/or punishing offences.

TECHNICAL, ANALYTICAL AND PROFILING COOKIES

Cookies are text files which the website sends to users' terminals, where they are stored, then transferred back to the same websites whenever the user browses them later. There are several types of cookies:

Several types of technical cookies are used which are necessary and cannot be disabled; these include session cookies, used exclusively while browsing (and deleted as soon as you log out), and persistent (or stored) cookies, which are saved in the browser until their expiration date or after being deleted by the user, for example those which allow for facilitated login to a reserved area by saving its data.

They serve the purpose of creating anonymous user profiles in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences shown by the user when browsing the website pages. This website does not use profiling cookies.

3. PROCESSING VENUE AND PROCEDURES

The data related to web services on this site are processed in the offices of the Data Controller.

4. PROCESSING DURATION

The processing duration shall not exceed the time necessary to perform the service requested by the User, or required for the purposes detailed in this document. Specific safety measures shall be taken in order to prevent loss of data, their illicit or improper use and any unauthorised access.

5. OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DATA CONTROLLERS AND PROCESSORS

The data controller is expected to ensure: the correctness of the personal data of the subjects concerned; lthe availability and integrity of personal data; the confidentiality of person data (therefore protection against accesses not authorised by processing procedures).

In the event of illicit uses or of abuses regarding personal data and of unintentional dissemination of personal data, the data Controller shall notify the fact within 72 hours to the Privacy Authority and to data subjects. Moreover the data Controller shall implement all necessary measures to resolve any damage incurred; this means building organisation processes and implementing suitable technical safety measures, including appropriate risk analysis strategies in respect of processing.

6. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

The subjects to whom personal data refer have a right - at any time - to ask for confirmation of whether the said data exist, as well as for details regarding their content and origin, to verify their correctness or ask for them to be integrated or updated, as well as possibly rectified. In summary, the data subjects have the following rights:

  • the right to oblivion, that is to say each user’s right to be erased or forgotten by the system (in other words, if today I sign up with a new social network or forum, I must have the possibility of removing all of my traces, if I so wish)
  • the right to partialprocessing of data (i.e. The option of saving protected data, which only the user has the possibility of modifying)
  • the right to data portability (i.e. I need to be able to export data concerning me from the system to my computer in a structured format, which is commonly used and legible by electronic and automated devices)
  • the right to rectification (i.e I need to be able to correct my personal data at any time)
  • the right to be correctly informed (i.e. to receive information in a clear and synthetic way, expressed using understandable language)
  • finally, the right to access (i.e. to access at any time the data stored)

Any requests should be addressed by e-mail (see references in the Contacts page of this website). The data Controller is expected to process all requests within no longer than one month, which may be extended to three months in particularly complex cases;in any case the Controller shall acknowledge the data subject’s request within no more than one month, even if it is rejected.

7. EXPRESS CONSENT BY DATA SUBJECT

After reviewing this privacy policy, Users can consent to use of cookies and communication and processing of their personal data for the purposes and following the procedures described in this webpage.

8. MINORS’ PRIVACY

Any personal data related to a minor shall be transferred by a parent or by someone exercising parental authority.

9. OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PRIVACY POLICY

The data Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Such changes shall become effective and binding after its publication. The User agrees to check on a regular basis any updates and reviews. By continuing to use the services and the website after a review has been published, the user accept the relevant amendments.

The User's Personal Data may be used by the Controller in court or during the preliminary phases of a legal action by the defence agains abuses with regard to this Application or to the relevant Services by the User.

Users are aware that the Controller may be obliged to divulge Data by order of public authorities.
